Waldemar Dąbrowski was a long-time director of the "Studio" Arts Centre in Warsaw, which he run together with Jerzy Grzegorzewski and which under his leadership became one of the most important centres of artistic activity in Poland. He produced over 70 plays, created an independent artistic management agency, brought about the creation of the Sinfonia Varsovia Orchestra and continued developing the Studio's exhibition traditions.
