Painting Music - Musical Images

A series of paintings by the Polish-American Bogusław Lustyk inspired with Chopin’s music constitutes a visual interpretation of sounds.

The absolutely unique series of paintings by the Polish-American Bogusław Lustyk was inspired by Chopin's music and constitutes a visual interpretation of sounds, which the artist himself thus described: "To paint sounds. Standing in front of an empty canvas, I am like a composer staring at a blank music sheet, seeking to capture and express my vision by means of magical signs".

The painting series is composed of of 15 variations, whose starting point is the reprint of the autograph of Chopin's "Sonata in B minor". The series may be presented as a painting exhibition, an exhibition and a concert, a multimedia show, a prize competition for the best live improvisation or for the best composition interpreting the paintings. The author's personal involvement is possible.
