From Duda-Gracz to Chopin

The project features the painting cycle "From Duda–Gracz to Chopin", which is displayed in the form of a multimedia presentation combined with piano recital performed by Magdalena Lisak, winner of the 13th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition held in Warsaw.

Jerzy Duda–Gracz, one of Poland’s most popular painters, has created a visual interpretation of Fryderyk Chopin’s all works. The recital’s programme includes Etudes Op. 10, Waltzes Op. 64, Mazurkas Op. 56, Barcarole in F–sharp major Op. 60 and Scherzo in C–sharp minor Op. 39, played against the visual background of the painting pieces, which highlight the music with their mood.
