Project Chopin 2010

The spectacle presents the story of great love between Fryderyk Chopin and the writer George Sand.

Paris 1838. The most provocative woman in France, George Sand and the celebrated musician Frederic Chopin fall in love with each other. Everybody in Paris thinks that this relationship is doomed to fail, but it turned out completely different: they stay together for nine years and during this time immortal masterpieces come to existence. Their passionate love ends shortly before he dies. We use original , as well as fictional texts in our approach to this relationship between two extraordinary artists and very opposed characters. FACTORY Theatre productions e.V. shows its productions regularly on International Theatre Festivals all over the world.
