The view at the bridge and the Fryderyk Chopin Museum

Bridge over Tamka Street

The renewed bridge communicates two banks of the Warsaw Escarpment on both sides of the Tamka Street, that is the Bartoszewicza Street and the square at the University of Music. After the modernisation the bridge changed beyond recognition. It is painted with light grey, the steel railings are replaced with glass panes; the whole construction gained light and modern nature. Its design fits the Chopin Centre building with many glass elements, which is located in front of the Fryderyk Chopin Museum. The pavement of the bridge is made of non-skid resin. Moreover, in the framework of the investment, the stairs leading to the bridge and the pavement from the Kopernika Street to the entrance to the Daughters of Charity Monastery were repaired.

Size of the bridge:
Length – 47.7 metre
Width – 4 metre
Height – 4.85 metre
